  • After reviewing our services and FAQ’s, click the “Get Started” button to access our Travel Questionnaire.

    Introduce yourself and answer some introductory questions. These are essential to beginning the planning process.

  • Once you’ve submitted your questionnaire, we’ll schedule a phone consultation to discuss your trip in more detail. We’ll dive into the finer details of what you want out of your trip and toss around some ideas.

    Be prepared to answer:

    • What type of experiences do you enjoy?

    • What are your flight preferences?

    • What are your accommodations preferences?

    • Do you have dietary or accessibility needs?

    • Do you have any loyalty numbers?

    • What do you expect to spend on this vacation?

    • Do you have a passport?

  • When you are ready to move forward with the planning process, we’ll ask for a non-refundable planning fee. This covers planning time, and resources required to create and book your itinerary.

    Our planning fees range from $200-$300, depending on the location, length and complexity of your trip.

  • Now sit back and let the magic happen! We’ll do the planning while you shop for that vacation wardrobe!

    We’ll put our knowledge and experience to work, utilizing our industry connections and resources to piece together your travel elements.

    Having considered all your wants and needs, we’ll present you with 1-2 proposal itineraries. This process typically takes about 1-2 weeks, depending on the complexity of the trip.

    Our process is a collaborative one. We’ll make adjustments until you’re satisfied, then you’ll sign your approval to begin the booking process.

  • In most cases, only a deposit is required at the time of booking. Payment plans can be arranged, but you will be given a date for final payment.

    Before bookings can be placed, we’ll require the following:

    • Verification of names and DOB of all members of the traveling party.

    • Verification of all travel documents and expiration dates. *We are not responsible for any travel documents required for the countries you’ll be visiting.

    • Credit Card Authorization

  • You’re all booked! As your departure date approaches, we’ll monitor the details and help you prepare. You’ll also be given safety information and emergency protocols should you require any assistance while on your trip.

    Departure day - the day you’ve been waiting for! We’re available to you 24/7 throughout your journey, should anything come up.

    Upon your return, you can expect a welcome home email and a request for a quick review of our service and your trip.

  • The process of planning your own vacation takes countless hours of exhaustive research, often characterized by frustration and uncertainty.

    For decades we’ve been taught to believe we were getting the best deals online, but that’s just not the case anymore. While using a travel advisor does come at a fee, that cost is more than paid for when you consider the time saved, plus the insider knowledge, which leads to a better overall experience. Perhaps most valuable of all, is the peace of mind that comes with knowing the details have been taken care of, and you have someone to call should something unforseeable happen.

  • Domestic: 2-6 months
    International: 6-12 months

    It is especially important to allow ample planning time if traveling during peak season, for festivals and events, or if you’re traveling with a larger group.

    National Parks, River Cruises and Alaskan cruises often book a year in advance.

  • From iconic world-class cities, like London and Paris, to the underappreciated gems like Montenegro and Slovenia, we specialize in designing custom travel itineraries throughout Europe.

  • We study and travel extensively to learn about the destinations we offer in order to provide the best service for our clients. For this reason, our area of expertise does not extend to the Caribbean and Mexico at this time.

    *Caribbean cruises are the exception

  • Our agency focuses on international travel, apart from Mexico and the Caribbean. However, we’re always in the process of adding to our destination portfolio! Please contact us to inquire whether your intended destination is a possibility.

  • We partner with multiple suppliers to provide villas and other unique stays, however, we do not book Airbnb/VRBO rentals as these are privately owned and can, therefore, not be quality-checked. We do recognize the value of such accommodations and are glad to offer some guidance, so long as they are part of a larger itinerary.

  • When presented with your trip proposal, you will have the option of adding trip protection.

    We strongly recommend safeguarding your investment. Travel insurance helps safeguard your journey so your trip can be memorable for all the right reasons. If 2020 taught us anything, it’s that even the most carefully planned trip can be complicated by unforeseen events. Whether it’s lost luggage, cancelled flights, a medical emergency, or a global pandemic, an unexpected mishap can turn a relaxing vacation into a frustrating experience. TWE offers travel insurance through quality insurance suppliers for an additional cost. This cost is calculated by the insurance company and is separate from TWE service fees. TWE does not interpret coverage. Please review your policy with an insurance specialist.

  • We are typically able to complete a proposed itinerary within 2 weeks of receiving your planning fee.

  • Our industry connections often provide us with access to special pricing and/or upgrades you can’t get otherwise. That said, as your travel advisor, we’ll work on your behalf to find the best value available for your investment. If a “deal” sounds too good to be true, odds are it is! Our number one goal is and always will be to provide you with a quality vacation. This can only be done by keeping our standards high and sticking with tried and true properties.

  • Absolutely! Just know that any trip element you book yourself, TWE cannot ensure the quality of services you’ll receive, nor can we provide assistance should there be a problem.

  • Travel advisors do receive commissions from the suppliers we book you with, however, should you cancel your trip for any reason, that commission is taken away leaving us with no compensation whatsoever. Our planning fee serves to compensate us for a portion of our time and efforts, regardless of whether or not you’re able to complete your travel.

  • Yes we do! Our travel voucher is essentially a pre-paid planning fee, which starts at $175.

    The recipient will receive an e-gift card. They can then contact us when they’re ready to begin planning!
